We have 1 private apartment. Other than that, we only have rooms in shared apartments with 4 to 6 residents.
Once you've decided on a room, we'll need the following documents: a copy of your ID, proof of your ability to pay rent (e.g., pay stubs from the last 3 months, a copy of a blocked bank account, proof of Erasmus status, or an employment contract). Once we've received these documents, we can draw up the lease, and the room is yours.
The rent for the rooms includes an advance payment for utilities (water and electricity) as well as a flat fee for Wi-Fi and furnishings.
For students, the security deposit is €500; for working professionals, the security deposit is equal to 3 months' net rent (excluding utilities).
The notice period is 3 months. Please send your notice of termination by email to U46@pe-komenda.de. You may only terminate your subscription as of March 1 or September 1 of a calendar year.
The rent and security deposit must be transferred to the bank accounts specified in the contract before you move in and receive the keys—please note that there are two separate bank accounts: one for the rent and security deposit, and another for the payment of the furnishings. We recommend making the payment at least one week before you move in, as both payments are due on the day you move in.
Yes. The ARD and ZDF fees are not included in our flat-rate rent, as these are separate broadcasting fees that are considered a separate legal obligation of the residents. If one of your roommates has already registered the apartment, you can provide that registration number and split the fees among yourselves.
